Abstract:A 15-year-old male patient had a swelling scrotum for five years and developed skin rashes for one year. The physical examination showed enlargement of the scrotum, about 13cm in diameter, medium texture, without tenderness. There was a little clear exudate on the surface of the scrotum, and numerous isolated or clustered red mung bean-sized spherical soft neoplasms could be seen on the scrotum. The nail plates of the patient's 20 fingernails and toenails were pale yellow, thick, decurved and the lunulas disappeared. The diagnosis which confirmed by clinical manifestation and pathological examination was yellow nail syndrome. The examinations of chest X-ray, computed tomography of lungs and medical treatment were refused by the patient. After 4 months, we learned from the patient's father that the volume of the patients' swelling scrotum reduced by 40% after 2 months treatment of Chinese massage and acupuncture. After that, we can't get in touch with the patient anymore.
