Disseminated nodular secondary syphilis: one case report

Abstract:A 41-year-old female,presented with disseminated red nodules on her head,trunk and limbs for 1 months,and the laboratory tests showed∶ TPHA(+),FTA-ABS(+),RPR1∶64(+).The patient was diagnosed with secondary syphilis.Deep intramuscular injection of 2.4 M U benzathine penicillin was used,once per week,a total of 3 times.Three weeks after the treatment,the nodules significantly subsided.Laboratory tests showed RPR1∶ 8 three months after the treatment,then the treatment of benzathine penicillin was given to the patient repeatedly,and the skin lesions regressed without recurrent after the treatment.
