Abstract:Objective To evaluate the application of reflectance confocal microscopy in auxiliary diagnosis of atypical psoriasis. Methods Reflex confocal laser scanning microscope (reflectance confocal microscopy,RCM) and histopathological examination were carried out for three cases with atypical psoriasis lesions. Results The RCM images of these three cases had Munro micro abscess and psoriasis-like hyperplasia model, which corresponded to the pathological changes of psoriasis vulgaris and accorded with the changes of psoriasis vulgaris. Conclusion Reflection confocal laser scanning microscope may be useful in auxiliary diagnosis of atypical psoriasis, which provides new methods and new ideas for diagnosis and differential diagnosis of dermatosis.
