Clinical analysis of 55 cases of acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis
Abstract：Objective To study the causes,clinical features,treatment and prognosis of acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis induced by drugs.Methods A retrospective analysis was carried out based on the clinical data of 55 patients with acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis in Anhui Provincial Hospital Affiliated to Anhui Medical University from Jan 2009 to May 2016.Results 89.1％ of the patients had a history of medication with typical clinical manifestations including generalized erythema and pustules with fever.The patients' temperature returned to normal in 1 to 4 days,and erythra regressed in 2 tol0 days after hospitalization.Conclusion Drugs especially antibacterial agents are the most frequent causes of acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis,Removal of pathogenic factors and glucocorticoid administration are important for treating acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis.
