Food allergy and atopic dermatitis in children

Abstract：Food allergy(FA) is a common anaphylactic disease in infants and children,especially among patients with atopic dermatitis(AD).The association between atopic dermatitis and food allergy is still not fully understood.Food allergy is a considerable area of concern for many parents.There are many misunderstandings in the diagnosis and management of food allergy among the patients with AD.This review aims to increase correct understanding about food allergy so as to carry out available diagnosis and proper management.Now the standard diagnosis of FA is double blind placebo control food challenge test.In the patients with AD,we should emphasize correct breastfeeding,avoid unnecessary eliminations,introduce solids on schedule and use probiotics and vaccinate properly.
