Abstract:A 41-year-old male with an enlarged right thigh nodule for 14 years was reported. Physical examination revealed a solitary, hemispherical, well defined, non-tender nodule with light brown color in the right thigh. The nodule was roughly the size of a broad bean. Histopathological examination showed hyperkeratinization, scattered lobules of adipocytes distributed between bundles of dermal collagen fibers, and with the infiltration of a few mononuclear cells in upper dermis and around the vessels. Based on the aforementioned findings, a diagnosis of solitary nevus lipomatosus cutaneous superficialis was established.
