A case of plaque-type psoriasis with pemphigus vulgaris successfully treated with cyclosporine
Abstract:The coexistence of psoriasis with pemphigus is not frequently encountered in clinic and the treatments of these two diseases are sometimes contradictory. We reported a woman who was diagnosed as psoriasis vulgaris 7 years ago and developed generalized vesicles and erosion 20 days before the visited. Skin pathological features, and the results of direct and indirect immunofluorescence and anti-desmoglein detection established the diagnosis of psoriasis vulgaris with pemphigus vulgaris. The patient was successfully treated by cyclosporine.
