A case of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans

Abstract:A 27-year-old female suffered from erythema and nodules on the right back for five years. Histopathological results of the lesion showed that the epidermis was slightly thicken, elongation of the rete ridges, the pigment of basal layer increased, a large number of spindle shaped cells in the lower part of the dermis and the subcutaneous tissue, with large nucleus, hyperchromatic, abundant cytoplasm and increased ratio of nucleus and cytoplasm. Immunohistochemical results showed that CD34(+), Ki670-10%(+). The Diagnose was dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans.
