Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of superficial acne scar treated by micro plasma and glycolic acid. Methods A total of 60 patients with superficial acne scar were randomly divided into 2 groups equally. The group one was treated with micro plasma instrument from Israel company (Alma Lasers) with 2 months interval, 1 month after every micro plasma treatment, the treatment of glycolic acid from American NeoStrata was given. The group two was treated with micro plasma instrument only. A course contained 3 times treatments. The clinical efficacy was assessed at the end of 2 months follow-up after the final treatment. ECCA was used to estimate the degree of improvement and adverse effect. Results ECCA of the two groups were lower than those before the treatment(P<0.05), and the effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Micro plasma is an effective way to treat acne scar, and the clinical effect and incidence of hypertension is better when combined with glycolic acid.
