A case of multiple fat liquefaction and soft tissue infection after injection of amazingel 20 years ago
Abstract：This case reports a 43-year-old female suffered from sudden swelling and ecchymosis with severe pain in several areas on her trunk who had accepted the injection of amazingel, a kind of chest filler, 20 years ago. The results of CT imaging, ultrasound examination and fluid culture through debridement confimed the fact that the rashes were formed by fat liquefaction and soft tissue infection. Histopathological examination showed visible injection filler, the fusion of filler and cells and the channels created by it, which was considered to be the important reason causing fat liquefaction and soft tissue infection.
