Abstract:A case of sarcoidosis presented with erythema and subcutaneous nodules is reported. A 55-year-old female presented with erythema and multiple subcutaneous nodules separately on the left superciliary arch and temporal region for two months. Dermatological examination showed dark red erythema about 1cm in diameter on the left superciliary arch and multiple, firm, irregular, oval, and skin-colored subcutaneous nodules about 0.5~1.5cm in diameter on the left temporal region. Histopathological examination demonstrated a large amount of epithelioid cells and multi-nucleated giant cells in the dermis or subcutaneous fat, most of them were naked tubercles. A diagnosis of sarcoidosis was finally determined.
