A case of primary cutaneous cryptococcosis

Abstract:A case of primary cutaneous cryptococcosis in an immunocompetent man was reported. An uplift mass was located in the patient's right armpit, with 10 cm x 2.6 cm in size, soft, a little fluctuation, clear boundary and poor activity, as well as grain to soya bean sized papules and nodules scattered in the forehead and front chest. According to its clinical symptoms, pathological examination and special staining and mycology examination, the patient was diagnosed as primary cutaneous cryptococcosis and recovered after local resection and orally itraconazole treatment.
