Status and consideration of continuing education in dermatologic professional English
Abstract：With the rapid development of medicine, the requirements of dermatologists are not only professional knowledge and clinical experience but also professional English, that enables the dermatologists to communicate in international exchanges, write English papers and deal with foreign patients. In this paper, we analyse the current status and the problems of continuing education in dermatologic professional English, such as lacking of suitable dermatology professional English teaching books, uneven teaching levels, and neglect of the importance of professional English. The modes of continuing education in dermatologic professional English are discussed. The paper will provide some references for developing and improving the continuing education in dermatologic professional English.
