Training and cultivation of empathy in dermatology teaching

Abstract：The characteristics of skin diseases, such as the exposure of the lesions, the complexity of the etiology, and the topical therapy have great influence on the patients' quality of life, therefore higher empathy is required for a dermatologist to ensure a better communication with the patients. In this article, the importance of the empathy training in dermatology teaching is discussed.
