Retrospective analysis of 216 cases with skin malignant tumor and precancerous lesions in northern Guangxi Province
Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical features and trends in the incidence of skin malignant tumor and precancerous lesions in northern Guangxi Province. Method Clinical and pathological data of the patients who had been diagnosed pathologically as skin malignant tumor and precancerous lesions in the dermatological department of Afifliated Hospital of Guilin Medical College from 2006 to 2015 were collected and analyzed. Results A total of 216 cases of skin malignant tumor and precancerous lesions were studied. The male to female ratio was 1.1:1. The overall mean age of patients was (64.4±14.5) years. Basal cell carcinoma had the highest incidence (71 cases) among the all pathological types. Face and scalp were the most common location of skin malignant tumor and precancerous lesions (51.4%). Conclusion The clinical features of the patients with skin tumor and precancerous lesions in northern Guangxi Province were different from other provinces and foreign countries in some aspects.
