Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the infection and drug resistance ofureaplasma urealyticum(UU) andmycoplasma hominis(MH) in Shanghai, form 2011 to 2015, so as to provide a reference for the effective prevention and treatment ofmycoplasma infection.MethodsThemycoplasma cultivation and commercial kit for drug susceptibility test were performed in 9074 samples, which came from dermatology, gynaecology and reproductive clinic in Shanhai, from 2011 to 2015.ResultsThe positive cases ofmycoplasma infection were 3 238(35.68%), in which UU accounted for 2505(27.61%). The infection rate of cervical, urethral secretions and semen was 53.19%, 33.55% and 13.61%. The highest infection rate of age in female and male was 16-20 and 26-30. Except josamycin, the majority of macrolides were resistant to MH and UU+MH. The sensitive rates of UU, MH and UU+MH to tetracyclines were higher(>95%). ConclusionUU is the major pathogen of genitourinary tract infection bymycoplasma, highly in sexually active individuals, which should be prevented and controlled. Tetracyclines could be the ifrst choice for mycoplasma infection.
