The application of rhomboid lfap for the defects caused by facial skin tumor excision

Abstract：ObjectiveTo investigate the applicability, reliability and complication of rhomboid lfap in treatment of facial skin tumor. MethodFrom October 2008 to August 2013, the rhomboid lfap had been applied in the treatment of 8 patients with facial skin tumor by the author, the applicability, reliability and complication of the method were valued retrospectively.ResultPrimary healing of the defect was achieved in all cases. The cosmetic result was satisfactory in all cases. There was no major complication occurred.ConclusionThe rhomboid lfap is an effective, quick and simple technique for covering skin defect caused by operation of facial skin carcinoma.
