Related researches on rare pathogenic Melanized fungus

Abstract：Melanized fungus remain uncommon pathogen but have become increasingly being attentioned. The clinical syndromes caused by these fungus are differentiated due to different clinical features consisting of chromoblastomycosis, eumycetoma,and phaeohyphomycosis. With the wide application of molecular identification technology, more and more fungal infections caused by rare melanized fungus have being reported increasedly. We presented an overview on ecology, taxonomy, pathogenesis, diagnostics and treatment of these rare species infection.
