Curative effect analysis of combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine on 150 cases of psoriasis vulgaris

Abstract:ObjectiveTo observe the clinical curative effect of combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine for patients with psoriasis vulgaris.MethodTotal 300 outpatients with psoriasis vulgaris were enrolled, from May 2012 to December 2014, randomly divided into two groups, 150 cases in each group, experimental group adopted in combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine, the control group treated by routine western medicine, clinical curative effect of the two groups were evaluated after 6 weeks of continuous treatment, and follow-up for 6 months.ResultsClinical total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than the control group, the incidence of adverse reactions and half year recurrence rate is lower than the control group, the differences between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).ConclusionThe combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris is effective, meanwhile with low adverse reaction and low recurrence rate.
