The relationship between the cancer cell proliferation, angiogenesis and the expression of iNOS in malignant melanoma
Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the expression of iNOS in malignant melanoma(MM) and its correlation with the cancer cell proliferation, angiogenesis and clinical data, as well as its effects on the development of MM. MethodsTotal 30 cases of MM tissues and 20 cases of nevus were collected, and the immunohistochemical method was adopted to detect the expression of iNOS, then the clinical data were analyzed, finally the relationship between the cancer cell proliferation and angiogenesis was observed.ResultsThe positive rate of iNOS in MM was higer than that of nevus group (P<0.05). In MM group, there was no relevance between the expression of iNOS and the gender, location and tumor growth pattern (P>0.05). The iNOS positive rate of pathological staging III-IV was signiifcantly higher than that of I-II (P<0.05). The PLI and MVD value of iNOS positive tumors was obviously higher than that of iNOS negative tumors (P<0.01).ConclusionThe expression of iNOS can promote the proliferation of cancer cells and vessel formation in MM, which is an important regulatory factor in tumor biological behavior.
