Detection and evaluation of laboratory indices in 95 acute urticaria cases
Abstract:ObjectiveTo study the relationship between heightened levels of leukocytes and neutrophil cells and bacterial infections in patients of acute urticaria that without the signs of infection.MethodsBlood routine test, the serum levels of procalcitonin (PCT) and hypersensitive-CRP (hs-CRP) were carried out in acute urticaria cases who had no bacterial infection signs and symptoms, and the patients were divided into two groups, group one included the cases with heightened levels of white blood cells and neutrophil cells, while group two included the cases with normal levels, then the levels of PCT and hs-CRP of the two groups were detected and compared.ResultsStatistical results showed the serum levels of PCT and hs-CRP of the two groups had no signiifcant difference (P>0.05).ConclusionLeukocytes and neutrophil cells of acute urticaria patients are susceptible to drugs, which affected by individual and stress factors. Whether to give antibiotics to acute urticaria patients with white blood cells and neutrophils increased should be based on the clinical symptoms and other serum indices, and blood routine test can only be used as a reference.
