The application of azathioprine in dermatology
Abstract:Azathioprine (AZA) is an immunosuppressive agents widely used in clinical therapy, especially in autoimmune and inflammatory skin disorders. However, the application of AZA is restricted by its toxic and side-effects. In order to give the instructions of rational administration and monitor the adverse reactions of azathioprine, this review will focus on the drug metabolism, pharmacological mechanism of AZA and its application in dermatosis.
