Clinical observations on the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris by herbal oral administration and fumigation
Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of treating psoriasis vulgaris with herbal oral administration and fumigation. Methods Total 300 cases of psoriasis were randomly divided into two groups. 150 cases in treatment group were treated with herbal oral administration and fumigation, while the other 150 cases in control group were treated only with herbal oral administration. The course of treatment was 4 weeks. Results Total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group was 71.4% and 56.7%, respectively, the difference was signiifcant (P<0.05). After 4 weeks of the treatment, the PASI of the treatment group was signiifcantly lower than the control group, the difference was signiifcant (P<0.05). No signiifcant differences were found between the two groups of erythema, scaling and inifltration scores. There were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups. Conclusion Herbal oral administration plus fumigation has good efifcacy and safety in treating psoriasis vulgaris, which may also shorten the treatment period.
