Advances in early laboratory diagnosis of invasive trichosporonosis
Abstract:Invasive trichosporonosis is one kind of systemic fungal infection caused by Trichoporon spp, with a mortality of 50% to 80%, and the prevalence of which has increased year by year. Laboratory tools are the important basis for the diagnosis and prevention of these infections. Here, some progress of the methods for early diagnosis of the disease was reviewed, including antigen detection and PCR-based methods.
