Research progress of severe drug eruption

Abstract:Severe drug eruption is a common cutaneous adverse drug reactions in clinical, including erythema multiforme drug eruption (EMDE), toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN), acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), exfoliative dermatitis drug eruption (EDDE), and drug hypersensitivity syndrome (DHS), Which has a high morbidity and mortality. Detailed medical history, typical clinical manifestations, physical examination, and laboratory and auxiliary examinations are helpful for the early diagnosis of the disease. Two aspects of severe drug eruption, pathogenesis and clinical manifestations, are outlined in this article.
