Clinical analysis of 27 HIV antibody positive patients with herpes zoster

Abstract:ObjectiveTo analyze the clinical features of HIV antibody positive patients with herpes zoster.MethodsA retrospective study was carried out on 27 HIV antibody positive patients with herpes zoster collected from January 2013 to October 2014 in the department of dermatology.ResultsThe pain score of all the 27 patients were greater than 3 points (6.07±2.05), the days of hospitalization were (9.5±2.0) days, the number of CD4+T cells signiifcantly reduced (343±49)/μl.ConclusionComparing with the ordinary herpes zoster patients, HIV antibody positive patients with herpes zoster often have more innervation area violated, the pain is obvious, the clinical manifestations are more serious, and the treatment time is relative longer. The decline of CD4+T cells may be an important factor of evoking the onset and relapse of herpes zoster.
