The effects of malaytea scurfpea fruit and fructus ligustri lucidi on the migration and c-KIT expression of B16 melanoma cells

Abstract：ObjectiveTo study the effects of malaytea scurfpea fruit and fructus ligustri lucidi on the migration and c-KIT expression of mouse melanoma cell line (B16).MethodsB16 cells were treated with malaytea scurfpea fruit and fructus ligustri lucidi respectively, then the cell migration was detected by transwell assay, and c-KIT expression was detected by RT-PCR and western blot.ResultsMigrated cells in every vision of the three malaytea scurfpea fruit treated groups and the three fructus ligustri lucidi treated groups were more than the corresponding control group respectively, there was a signiifcant difference (P<0.05), and the number of the migrated cells was affected by the concentration of the medicine in a dose dependent manner. Compared with the control group, c-KIT expression of melanoma cells of malaytea scurfpea fruit group (1.0×10-5mmol/L) and fructus ligustri lucidi group (1.0 g/L) was increased respectively, the difference was statistically signiifcant (P<0.05).ConclusionMalaytea scurfpea fruit and fructus ligustri lucidi promoted mouse B16 melanoma cell migration by promoting its c-KIT expression, which may be the mechanism of their therapeutic effects on vitiligo.
