The development of treatment for vitiligo

Abstract：Vitiligo is one kind of skin disease characterized by depigmentation, which is easy to be diagnosed but dififcult to be treated. For the general treatment of the disease, we can refer to the national common view for vitiligo treatment of 2009. Combined treatment has become the most commonly used mode recent years, for example, phototherapy combined with topical applications, surgery combined with phototherapy and so on. New treatments, such as the improved surgery, unconventional oral medicine and external applications, gene therapy and biological agents, are less used in clinic nowadays, their efifcacy need to be further proved.
