Observation of the efifcacy of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate and collagen dressing in the treatment of corticosteroid-related dermatitis
Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical efifcacy of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate and collagen dressing in the treatment of corticosteroid-related dermatitis. Methods Fifty-seven patients were divided into 2 groups randomly. One group was treated with magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate and collagen dressing, and the other group was treated with magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate only. The total course of treatment was 6 weeks. The efifcacy of the two groups was compared at the end of the treatment. Results The total cure rates of the treatment and control group were 46.43%and 17.24%respectively, with signiifcant difference (P<0.05). And the total effective rates of the treatment and control group were 89.29% and 48.28% respectively, with signiifcant difference, too (P<0.05). The adverse reactions were not found in both groups. Conclusion The combination therapy of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate and collagen dressing is an effective and safe method for the treatment of corticosteroid-related dermatitis.
