Abstract:To present a case of frontal depression caused by terminal frontal linear scleroderma which had been repaired by skin soft-tissue expander. The surgery was divided into two phases. During phase I, skin expanders were placed in normal subcutaneous tissues around the lesion to make the skin expand fully. During phase II, after skin expanders and diseased tissues were removed, the expanded skin lfaps were transplanted to cover the defects. The repair effect was consistent with the expected results. In general, the curative effect of repairing frontal depression caused by terminal frontal linear scleroderma with skin soft-tissue expander is satisfactory.
