A clinical retrospective analysis of 336 cases of pilomatricoma
Abstract:ObjectiveThe clinical and pathological data of 336 cases of pilomatricoma was retrospectively analyzed in this article, so as to improve the understanding of the disease.MethodsThe clinical and pathological data of 336 cases of pilomatricoma diagnosed by pathology was analyzed.ResultsIn these cases, the difference of gender incidence had no statistic signiifcance, and the highest peak attendance was found in the youth period. The tumors were most common on the neck and head, with various clinical manifestations, these patients resorted to different departments, different doctors, so the misdiagnosis rate of the disease was high.ConclusionsPilomatricoma has various clinical manifestations while it was commonly misdiagnosed. The clinicians must to inprove the acknowledge of ths disease.
