Abstract:Objective To evaluate the efficacy of intermingled culture of autologous epidermal cells in the treatment of curtaneous chronic ulcer. Methods Twenty patients were enrolled and classiifed into two groups at a ratio of 1:1. The patients were treated with the autologous epidermal cells in the experimental group and the routine surgical methods in the control group and the average healing time was analyzed. Results The average healing time of the experimental group had signiifcantly statistical signiifcance compared with control group (0.177±0.114) cm2/d vs (0.375±0.238) cm2/d, P=0.029). Conclusion The intermingled culture of autologous epidermal cells was effective in the treatment of curtaneous chronic ulcer.
