The quantitative assessment of the role of deep moisturizing combined blue-red light for acne
Abstract:Objective To evaluate the role of deep moisturizing combined blue-red light for acne. Methods Sixty patients with acne were divided randomly into two groups. One was control group, using blue-red light therapy at twice-weekly (2-3 day interval) for 8 times. The other was combined group, used same phototherapy methods for acne, and then using moisturizing after blue-red light. To assess its effect by using VISIA and SOFT5.5 complexion analysis system and quesionnaires before, ifnal treatment and one month after treatment. Results Compared with the control group. VISIA data in the combined group, texture, pore and porphyropsin had statistical signiifcance after treatment (P<0.05);SOFT5.5 data appeared, moisture and greases had signiifcant difference after treatment (P<0.05), and moisture, greases, pore, texture and elasticity had signiifcant difference at 1 month after treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion Deep moisturizing combined blue-red light for acne could obviously increase skin moisture and raising improve skin texture, pore, elasticity.
