Clinical efifcacy of velvetfeeling in treating infantile intertrigo

Abstract：Objective To observe the efficacy of velvetfeeling in treating infantile intertrigo. Methods One hundred and forty patients of intertrigo under three years old were randomly divided into 2 groups. The observation group was treated with velvefeeling, hydropathic compress given twice daily, 15 minutes for each time. The control group was treated with zinc oxide oil twice daily. After the course of treatment, the efifcacy of the two proposals were compared. Results The effective rate of the observation group and the control was 90.27% and 66.17% respectively, there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01). Conclusion Treatment with velvetfeeling is effective, safe and convenient for infantile intertrigo.
