The therapeutic effects of collagen dressing combined with oral tanshinone capsules for mild to moderate acne vulgaris

Abstract：Objective To observe the therapeutic effect and security of collagen dressing combined with oral tanshinone capsules in treating mild to moderate acne. Methods A total of 210 patients with mild to moderate acne were randomly divided into three groups, including one treatment group and two controls. The patients in treatment group were treated with collagen dressing combined with oral tanshinone capsules, and the two control groups were given oral tanshinone capsules or collagen dressing respectively. Then the curative effect and side effects of the different groups were evaluated. Results The effective rate was 81.4%in treatment group, 54.3%in control group1 and 55.7% in control group 2, and there were significant differences between the treatment group and the controls. In compare with the controls, the treatment group had fewer adverse reactions. Conclusions The therapy of collagen dressing combined with oral tanshinone capsules shows better therapeutic effects with few side effects in treating mild to moderate acne.
