Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of diclofenac sodium eye drops combined with conjunctival approach surgery in subconjunctival orbital fat prolapse. Methods A total of 96 patients with subconjunctival orbital fat prolapse admitted to De-partment of Ophthalmology of Huainan Oriental Hospital Group General Hospital from February 2022 to March 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into the control group(undergoing conjunctival approach surgery)and the observation group(receiving diclofenac sodium eye drops combined with conjunctival approach surgery)according to different intervention methods,48 patients in each group. The pain scores, inflammatory factors, quality of life and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results The pain scores of the observation group at 2 hours,1 day,1 week and 1 month after the operation were all lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).One month after the intervention, the indicators of TNF-α and TGF-β1 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).One month after the intervention, the quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 6.25%(3/48),which was lower than 22.92%(11/48)in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Diclofenac sodium eye drops combined with conjunctival approach surgery have a significant effect in the treatment of subconjunctival orbital fat prolapse. It can effectively alleviate postoperative pain in patients, reduce the levels of inflammatory factors, improve the quality of life, and reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions.
