Abstract:Objective To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of fractional laser and pulsed dye laser(PDL)in the si-multaneous treatment(recombination laser technology)of scars. Methods China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Medical online,VIP website,PubMed database,Sinomed database,Embase database, and Cochrane Library database were searched from the establishment of the database until March 2025.Relevant clinical studies on the treatment of scars with recombination laser technology were included, and the evaluation indicators mainly included treatment efficacy rate,Vancouver scar scale(VSS),patient and observer scar assessment scale(POSAS),and adverse reaction incidence rate. The efficacy and safety of recombination laser technology in the treatment of scars were systematically evaluated. Results A total of 14 studies were included.(1)Comparing the effective rates of recombination laser technology and fractional laser in scar treatment, the combined treatment group had a higher effective rate[RR(95%CI)=1.33(1.02,1.73),I2=58%,P=0.03].(2)After treating scars with recombination laser technology, the VSS score significantly decreased[SMD(95%CI)=-4.5(-6.07,-2.93),I2=95%,P<0.00001],and scars improved in pigmentation, vascularity, pliability, and height.(3)After the treatment of scars with recombination laser technology, both the POSAS score of observers[SMD(95%CI)=-11.15(-17.99,-4.31),I2=100%,P=0.001]and the POSAS score of patients[SMD(95%CI)=-11.75(-15.04,-8.46),I2=100%,P<0.00001]significantly decreased.(4)There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions to scar treatment by using recombination laser technology and frac-tional laser[RR(95%CI)=0.68(0.20,2.29),I2=0%,P=0.53].(5)Recombination laser treatment for early scars, especially immature scars, can improve the condition of scars. Conclusion Recombination laser technology is safe and effective for treating scars, and is superior to single-type fractional laser therapy.
