Abstract:Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is a rare mesenchymal spindle cell tumor [1], originating from CD34(+) dendritic cells in connective tissue throughout the body [2]. This disease commonly occurs in the visceral pleura, with reports of occurrence in other locations [3-4]. Cases occurring in the skin and soft tissues are rare. Due to its low incidence and non-specific morphology, there is generally insufficient awareness, leading to misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis.
