Abstract:Hydro-needle injection belongs to mesotherapy, a treatment method that involves injecting different drugs into the dermis to stimulate the self-renewal of the dermis, thereby achieving beauty, skincare, and anti-aging effects [1]. However, due to the varying qualifications of injectors and the quality of injected substances, many adverse reactions occur after injection [2-3]. In June 2023, the Department of Dermatology at Henan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine treated one case of facial granuloma following hydro-needle injection. The patient was treated with a combination of glucocorticoids and antihistamine drugs, and the skin lesions were resolved, with the patient's facial condition returning to normal. The following is a report on this case.
