Research progress on closed negative pressure drainage technology for closed fixation methods in special wound sites

Abstract：Closed negative pressure drainage technology is an effective method for treating infected wounds.The difficulty of closed fixation mainly lies in special areas,such as the maxillofacial and cervical regions,the top of the head,hands and feet,the perineum,the perianal region,and external fixation bracket wounds.Proper implementation of this technology can effectively reduce wound infection and promote wound healing,improve the clinical efficacy of VSD,and reduce the incidence of complications.This article provides a review of closed negative pressure drainage technology for sealing and fixing wounds in specific locations.
