A retrospective analysis of the effect of circumferential upper arm liposuction with double incision

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of circumferential upper arm liposuction with double incision.Methods Col-lected clinical data of 546 patients who underwent circumferential upper arm liposuction with double incision technique from February 2021 to January 2024 in Shanghai Anhemeige Medical Beauty Clinic,and clinical data such as operation time,upper arm circumference before and after surgery,upper arm circumference difference before and after surgery,upper arm subcutaneous tissue thickness before and after surgery,subcutaneous tissue thickness difference before and after surgery,fat aspiration volume,and postoperative complications were retrospectively analyzed,and the patients satisfaction survey was conducted.Results The average operation time of 546 patients was 71.61 min.The upper arm circumference and subcutaneous tissue thickness after operation were significantly different compared with those before operation(P＜0.05);The results of postoperative satisfaction survey showed that 153 patients were very satisfied(28.02％),330 patients were satisfied(60.44％),50 patients were essentially satisfied(9.15％),13 patients were dissatisfied(2.38％),and the overall satisfaction was 97.62％.No serious complications such as shock and infection occurred.Conclusion This surgery method of circumfer-ential upper arm liposuction with double incision is safe,effective,time-saving,with high satisfaction and few complications,and is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
