Abstract:Extraosseous chondrosarcoma is a rare soft tissue sarcoma. It was first described by MJ Stewart in 1948 as a case of "chordoid tumor," and was formally recognized as a distinct clinical pathological entity by FM Enzinger and M Shiraki in 1972. In October 2019, the Department of Burns, Plastic Surgery and Wound Repair at Ganzhou People's Hospital admitted a patient with primary extraosseous chondrosarcoma of the buttock with sacral bone destruction, and the treatment outcome was satisfactory. Herein, we report this case.
