Advances in perforator localization techniques for flap surgery

Abstract：The perforator flap has a history of more than 40 years since its report,and due to its numerous advantages,it is cur-rently widely used in clinical practice.However,due to the complex anatomical structure of the blood vessels in the donor area and the high variability of perforating blood vessels,it poses certain difficulties for surgical resection.At present,there are various instruments and tech-nologies applied in clinical practice for the localization of skin flap perforating branches,each with own advantages and disadvantages.The advantages and disadvantages of using various technologies for skin flap perforating branch localization,as well as the reasons that may in-terfere with the accuracy of perforating branch localization,are analyzed and summarized as follows.
