Research progress and prevention of subclinical infection in breast implant surgery with capsule contracture

Abstract：Capsular contracture is one of the most common complications after breast prosthesis implantation.In some severe cas-es,it can cause breast pain,appearance change and even resurgery.Although the mechanism of capsular contracture has not been fully elucidated,the biofilm formation caused by subclinical infection after prosthesis implantation is one of the recognized mechanisms.This ar-ticle reviews the relevant studies on capsular contracture caused by subclinical infection to provide a reference for reducing implant-asso-ciated bacterial contamination and biofilm formation.
