Abstract:Objective To explore and compare the clinical effect of fiber lipolysis assisted liposuction and traditional negative pressure liposuction in the treatment of upper arm fat accumulation. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 67 beauty-seeking individuals with upper arm fat accumulation admitted to Chongqing Xingyimei Medical Aesthetic Clinic from January 2020 to August 2024.The individuals were divided into an observation group and a control group according to the treatment methods. The control group(34 cases)underwent traditional negative pressure liposuction, while the observation group(33 cases)received fiber-optic lipolysis-assisted liposuction. The operation time, liposuction volume, postoperative recovery, and beauty-seeking individuals'satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time of the observation group was significantly longer than that of the con-trol group(P<0.05),while the postoperative ecchymosis resolution time was significantly shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in liposuction volume between the two groups(P=0.673).At 3 to 6 months after surgery, the satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of fiber lipolysis assisted liposuc-tion in the treatment of upper arm fat accumulation can significantly improve the surgical effect, improve the postoperative recovery of beauty seekers, and improve the satisfaction of surgery, although it increases the operation time.
