Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of fractional microneedle radiofrequency combined with botulinum toxin type A in the treatment of aging face. Methods A total of 92 patients with aging face admitted to the author's hospital from June 2021 to August 2023 were collected and divided into 3 groups by random number table method. The control group 1(n=31)received fractional mi-croneedle radiofrequency, the control group 2(n=30)received botulinum toxin type A and the observation group(n=31)received fractional microneedle radiofrequency combined with botulinum toxin type A.The treatment frequency is once a month, with 3 consecutive treatments per course of treatment. One month and six months after treatment, the doctor compared the scores of wrinkles, pores, and brown spots de-tected by VISIA,and compared the global scores of photogating(GSP score). The evaluated their own facial wrinkles, pores, skin texture, and pigmentation to evaluate the therapeutic effect, and evaluated patient satisfaction. Results The facial GSP score of the observation group was higher than that of control group 1 and control group 2(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in facial GSP scores between control group 1 and control group 2 one month after treatment(P>0.05).The self-evaluation scores of facial wrinkles, skin contour and firmness, pores, and skin tone glossiness of the observation group were higher than those of control group 1 and control group 2,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),observation group showed a significant decrease in wrinkles, pores, and brown spots under VISIA compared with the before. There was no statistically significant difference in VAS pain scores between observation group and control group 1 and control group 2 during the treatment process(P>0.05).The satisfaction rate of subjects in the observation group(29/31,93.55%)was higher than that in control group 1(23/31,74.19%)and control group 2(22/30,73.33%).No serious adverse reactions occurred during the treatment process. Conclusion The combination of microneedle array radiofrequency and type A botulinum toxin is more effective in facial rejuvenation treatment than using microneedle array radiofrequency alone or type A botulinum toxin alone.
