Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of chemical peels combined with optimal pulse technology(OPT)in the treatment of facial skin photoaging. Methods From October 2022 to January 2024,80 patients were randomly divided into two groups by lottery method in the Department of Plastic Surgery of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Hospital. The treatment effect, symptom score and treatment satisfaction of the two groups were evaluated one month after the end of treatment. Results One month after the encl of treatment, effect score of the study group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).One month after the end of treat-ment,the symptom score of the study group(3.12±0.88)was significantly better than that of the control group(4.05±0.98),P<0.05.Three months after the end of treatment, the symptom score of the study group(1.91±0.34)was significantly better than that of the control group(3.24±0.65),P<0.05.Six months after the end of treatment, the symptom score of the study group(0.86±0.27)was significantly better than that of the control group(2.17±0.13),P<0.05,and the patient satisfaction score of the study group(36.3±2.8)was higher than that of the control group(25.7±3.9)in one month after the end of treatment,P<0.05.Three months after the end of treatment, the satis-faction score of patients in the study group(40.3±4.3)was higher than that in the control group(27.7±2.6),P<0.05.Six months after the end of treatment, the satisfaction score of patients in the study group(42.9±1.8)was higher than that in the control group(28.2±3.2),P<0.05.Conclusion Intense pulsed light combined with chemical peel has a significant effect in improving skin photoaging, which pro-vides a new treatment option for clinical practice, and is worthy of clinical application.
