Abstract:Iatrogenic facial overfilling syndrome(IFOS)refers to a series of facial manifestations caused by excessive injection of fillers during cosmetic(or anti-aging)procedures performed by specialists.Domestically known as"dough-like face",it is one of the com-plications associated with facial filler treatments and has gradually garnered attention from aesthetic plastic surgeons. In recent years, there has been scarce literature analyzing this condition from various perspectives. There is also a lack of norms and consensus on its diagnosis, treatment and post-treatment evaluation in China. This article provides a comprehensive summary and analysis of IFOS based on clinical experience and published literature, aiming to serve as a reference and therapeutic guideline for aesthetic and reconstructive surgeons.
