Clinical study of individual plastic and aesthetic repair for acute orbital soft tissue injury

Abstract:Objective To investigate the comprehensive treatment and effect of targeted and individual cosmetic repair for acute orbital soft tissue injury.Methods From June 2019 to June 2021,46 patients with acute orbital soft tissue injury were treated.Individu-alized assessment was conducted according to the area,depth,and location of the trauma of different patients,and targeted comprehensive treatment plans were formulated for repair.Sequential treatment with drugs and laser was performed according to specific conditions af-ter surgery,and follow-up was conducted for 6 to 24 months.The scar status,complications and patient satisfaction were analyzed.Results The wounds of all patients were healed in one stage,and postoperative scar hyperplasia occurred in 2 cases,scar depression in 2 cases,displacement of inner canthus in 1 case,with a satisfaction rate of 82.6%.Conclusion In the first-stage repair of periorbital soft tissue trauma,personalized assessment and orderly treatment,precise reduction,tension-reduction suture,flap transfer,etc.,as well as tar-geted plastic and aesthetic repair methods supplemented by comprehensive treatment such as drugs and laser,are conducive to functional recovery,reducing secondary deformities,improving patient satisfaction,and thus effectively improving clinical treatment effect.Reduce the financial and psychological pressure caused by patients who may have multiple surgeries.
