Abstract：Calcium hydroxylapatite(CaHA)is a biomaterial extensively utilized in aesthetic medicine due to its superior biocom-patibility,stable physicochemical characteristics,and prolonged bioactive effects.It functions as a dermal filler in injectable treatments,and is frequently applied for volume restoration,contouring,and skin rejuvenation in facial and body procedures.CaHA fillers stimulate neocol-lagenesis by activating fibroblasts and promoting cellular proliferation,resulting in volumization and tissue tightening.This article reviews the physicochemical properties,mechanism of action,formulation,safety profile,and clinical applications of CaHA fillers,while addressing future directions and challenges in their clinical use.
